PayClimb does not require an account, display advertising, or use third-party analytics or cross-app tracking.
Information stored on your device
PayClimb stores your selected IT-AI career, current and target level, selected learning goals, learning progress, quiz results, language, and reminder preferences on your device. This information lets you continue the roadmap where you stopped.
AI Coach keeps only a bounded, sanitized recent-session history on your device so you can see which practice you completed. This local history contains session labels and completion context, never your free-text answer or a pasted job description. Deleting the app may remove this local information.
Learning content
The app downloads lesson packages over an encrypted connection. A request for lesson content may include standard technical connection information such as IP address, request time, and app version. It does not include your quiz answers or local learning history.
AI Coach
AI Coach is optional. When you tap the send button, PayClimb sends the answer you wrote together with the selected practice prompt, language, current role and level, target role and level, selected learning goal, and relevant learning context to AI so it can return the practice feedback you requested. You may also choose to include a bounded job description. PayClimb does not send your contacts, photos, files, precise location, or device advertising identifier with that request.
To authorize AI Coach and limit misuse, PayClimb sends a random, anonymous installation identifier. An anonymous subject derived from it, the request scope, and request timestamps support short-lived authorization, rate limiting, and safe retry handling. This lets repeat requests from the same installation be associated for app functionality; it is not used for advertising or tracking.
PayClimb does not write free-text answers or job descriptions to local session history or service logs. AI request content may be retained for up to 30 days solely for security and abuse monitoring. Practice answers are not used to make salary, hiring, promotion, or employment decisions.
Notifications
Study reminders are scheduled locally on your device. PayClimb does not upload your reminder schedule.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We do not share learning data with advertisers or data brokers. Optional AI practice content is transmitted only to generate the feedback you request and for the security and abuse protections described above.
